Team

FUNDEPS is an initiative developed by a dynamic team of highly skilled young professionals that have been working in the field of civil society organizations and development for several years. The team members of FUNDEPS are young professionals from Argentina that are committed with the promotion of policies ensure sustainable development for the whole world. Several of our members within our team have experience in working with different levels of Congress and parliament, as well as analyzing public and developing policies in the national, regional and local government bodies of Argentina, as well as in national and international civil society organisations.

Juan Carballo
Executive Director
Juan Carballo

Juan Carballo earned his law degree in his home country of Argentina at the National University of Cordoba (2006), and his Master of Laws (LL.M.), at Georgetown University Law Center (2010), sponsored by the Fulbright Commission. He was a Law Fellow at the O’Neill Institute for National and Global Health Law from 2010-2011 and a legal advisor at the Inter-American Heart Foundation Argentina from 2012-2013. He has worked as a short-term consultant for the Pan-American Health Organization (PAHO). He has extensive work experience at the civil society field in Argentina and worked as a legal advisor at the Environment and Sustainable Development Secretary at the local goverment of Córdoba. He is one of the founders of FUNDEPS where he is has served as Executive Director since 2012. He has written papers and books chapters on Constitutional Law, Accountability and Transparency, Environmental Law, Right to Health, and Human Rights.

Carolina Tamagnini

Carolina Tamagnini

Carolina holds a Bachelor Degree in International Relations by the Universidad Siglo 21. She had a research scholarship given by the International Relations and Integration Secretary of Córdoba. She was assistant researcher in an academic research project at the Siglo 21 University, on International Migratory Policies at MERCOSUR. Carolina is author and co-author of various publications in scientific journals, of topics related to migrations, refugee, gender and right to health.

Virginia Pedraza

Virginia Pedraza

Virginia is an advanced student of the career of Advocacy at the National University of Cordoba. She participates actively in the Commission on Gender and Human Rights of the Provincial Council of Women of the Province of Cordoba, where she has coordinated various trainings on gender and human rights of women in municipalities and state agencies. Virginia has integrated the Legal Clinic of the Center for Human Rights and Environment (CEDHA) and the Public Interest Clinic (CLIP). She has participated in different training and research institutions at the Center for Legal and Social Research at UNC's Faculty of Law, focusing her studies on human rights, environmental law and gender and sexuality.

Ana holds a doctorate in Political Science (University of Westminster, England), Master in International Development Economics (University of Applied Sciences in Berlin, Germany). Degree in Political Science, Degree in International Relations (Universidad Católica de Córdoba, Argentina). He has worked for the United Nations Argentina Youth Organization, the United Network of Young Peacebuilders (UNOY, the Netherlands), the Center for the Implementation of Public Policies for Equity and Growth (CIPPEC, Argentina) and the Secretariat of Transparency International (TI, Germany).

María Elena Martínez Espeche

María Elena is a lawyer graduated from the Faculty of Law and Social Sciences of the National University of Cordoba. She has been awarded a scholarship by Universidad Nacional de Córdoba at the University of Murcia, Spain. He currently works in the Provincial Courts of the Province of Córdoba and is a research assistant at CIJS. He participates actively in seminars, presentations and research in relation to the environmental theme.

Juan Miguel Litvachkes

Juan Miguel is a lawyer (National University of Cordoba). He has been awarded a scholarship by the International Organization of University Colleges of the World at the University of Ningxia (China) and at the Autonomous University of Madrid (Spain). He is a member of the Fundación Ciudadanos 365 and a research fellow at the Center for Legal and Social Research at the Faculty of Law of the National University of Córdoba. He has been an intern at the O'Neill Institute of National and Global Health Law at Georgetown University.

Slavenska is a lawyer from the National University of Cordoba, distinguished within the honor roll. He has done part of his studies in Mexico, at the Autonomous University of the State of Mexico. He has participated in civil society organizations such as AIESEC and OAJNU. Has assisted in the areas of Administrative Law and Constitutional Law, areas in which he has presented papers in different meetings. He currently works in the Provincial Courts of Córdoba and is a member of the Social Rights research team within the Center for Legal and Social Research of the National University of Córdoba.

Laura is a lawyer from the National University of Cordoba, a distinguished graduate in the honor roll. He has participated actively in seminars, congresses, forums and presented papers on the subject of the Right to Health and Human Rights of the Elderly. Has assisted in the matters of the Law of Obligations and Criminal Procedural Law. At the moment he works in Courts of the Province of Cordova and is studying a Masters in Procedural Law - Universidad Siglo XXI - Córdoba.

Manuel Faner

Manuel is a lawyer graduated from the National University of Cordoba. In 2013 he was a student of the Student Scale Program (AUGM) for which he studied Law and State Sciences at the Federal University of Minas Gerais, Brazil. Participated in different internships as in the Never Afternoon (Literacy, Promotion of Rights, Health and Work) program, in the Deputy Municipal Office of Social Assistance of the Municipality of Belo Horizonte and in Federal Justice. He is currently active in seminars, congresses and forums related to environmental issues and human rights.

Luciana Severini

Luciana is an advanced student of the career of Advocacy at the National University of Cordoba. He completed part of his degree studies at the University of Bologna, Italy, under the framework of the PIEG scholarship program. She has participated as both an assistant and exhibitor in seminars organized by the faculty's legal and social research center. She has worked as a student assistant in Constitutional, Civil and Criminal Law. He is currently working in a legal study and participates in a neighborhood organization that recognizes the demands and needs of people in situations of vulnerability.

Agustina is an Attorney at the National University of Córdoba and has been a recipient of the 2015 honor roll. María is a lawyer, graduated from the National University of Cordoba. She currently works in the legal study and in the Fellow of the "Environmental Guardians" Program of the Ministry of Water, Environment and Public Services of the Province of Córdoba. In turn, participate as an Assistant Researcher in a research project within the Center for Legal and Social Research of the UNC. Within the framework of this project and as a member of the Environmental Law Research Group CIJS-ISEA 2014, she participates as author of the books "The current environmental institutionality in Argentina (2009-2014)", "Legal research in public environmental policies (Part II) "and" Minimum budgets and the new environmental legal order in Argentina (2014 - 2015)".

Juan Bautista is an attorney graduated from the National University of Cordoba, currently attending the course of Teaching in Cs. Juridics of the same University. He is a member of the Legal Clinic within the framework of the program of Ethics and Political Theory of the Center for Legal and Social Research of the UNC. In turn, he is a member of the Open Hands Foundation providing legal advice to people in situations of vulnerability.

Virginia Corradi is an advanced student at the UNC School of Law and Social Sciences. In 2015 he carried out the "Specialist in Mining and Environment" program of the International Iberoamerican University and the European University of the Atlantic through the Iberoamerican University Foundation (FUNIBER). She is a member of the Permanent Seminar of Environmental Law of the UNC, where she participated as author of the book "Minimum budgets and the new environmental legal order in Argentina" (2014-2015), and currently working as an Assistant in a research project Within the Center for Legal and Social Research of the UNC entitled "The dispute for the construction of environmental policy in Argentina: actors and strategies for implementation in the territory.".

Gabriela Sofía Lorenzatti

Gabriela has a degree in Psychology (UNC). He finished his degree under the modality of supervised practice in research oriented to Public, Environmental and Collective Health in the Sierras Chicas de Córdoba. He is a participant in the Laboratory of Art/s, Performance/s Subjectivity/s of the Faculty of Psychology of the UNC since 2011. He currently collaborates ad-honorem in the Health Programs Department of the Municipality of Córdoba and is Volunteer of the area of Inclusion to the Elderly of the Foundation PIES. It is interesting to investigate, participate and contribute to the field of public health from a critical-purpose perspective, betting on a collective construction and transdiciplinar knowledge and contribute to the development of community intervention strategies to address priority issues for society.

Lawyer graduated from the Faculty of Law of the National University of Cordoba and Diploma in Gender Studies, women's and political movement in Latin America (Faculty of Philosophy and Letters of UBA and Latin American Program of Distance Education in Social Sciences Cultural Center Of the Gorini Floreal Cooperation).She is the coordinator of the Law and Human Rights project at Projects Abroad, an organization that offers volunteer opportunities to young foreigners in the city of Córdoba.Co-founder of the Corps of Feminist Advocates of Cordoba (CAF) and member of the Alliance of Argentine women lawyers.Volunteer for more than 10 years in AFS Intercultural Programs Argentina & Uruguay, an international organization that promotes intercultural learning opportunities through educational exchange experiences. Trainer of volunteers and educational communities at the binational level.

María Cecilia Bustos Moreschi

Cecilia graduated in History, graduated from the Faculty of Philosophy and Humanities of the National University of Cordoba. He teaches at the Universidad Nacional de Córdoba, Universidad Siglo 21 and in the middle level, and as part of the Editorial Board of the magazine Brumario (UES21). She is a specialist in Oral and Recent History and is the author of several articles on this subject. She is part of the Gender and Sexual Diversity team and participates in projects oriented towards participation and media violence.

Carla is a lawyer graduated from the Faculty of Law and Social Sciences. He currently serves in the Courts of the Province of Córdoba in the Family Violence court. He has participated in numerous courses and trainings on the subject. He is a member of the Program of Ethics and Political Theory of the Faculty of Law of the UNC and student of the Faculty of Legal Sciences of the Faculty of Law of the UNC. She is part of the Gender and Sexual Diversity team and participates in projects aimed at the political participation of women.

Lourdes Aparicio

Lourdes is a biologist, graduated from the National University of Cordoba. After a bachelor's degree in biostatistics, he began to do a master's degree in applied statistics (UNC), which is underway. In developing a strong interest in the area of epidemiology and demography, he also completed a master's degree in public health (UNC). Betting on interdisciplinary work, its objective is to be able to use these tools to help the interpretation of Argentine health reality and intervention in the health problems of the population. He participated in several community epidemiology projects, with which he presented papers and publications in different meetings. Currently works in a community pharmacy and as a freelance for different SMEs and private professionals.

Gonzalo has a Bachelor Degree in International Relations (Universidad Siglo 21), a postgraduate diploma in Entrepreneurship Management and a MOOC course in Project Management for Development. He joined Fundeps in mid-2013 and currently is the Coordinator of the Global Governance Area of the foundation and member of the International Secretariat of the Coalition for Human Rights in Development. Formerly, he worked in the International Financial Institutions´ Area of the Center for Human Rights and Environment (CEDHA). María Sofía Chacón

Sofia holds a degree in Political Science from the Catholic University of Cordoba. With the main objective of generating scientific evidence that serves as an input to decision making, she develops her activity as a researcher in the Observatory of Studies on Coexistence and Citizen Security in the Government of the Province of Córdoba, where, among other things, she coordinates the Survey Corruption of Victimization. Sofía is Global Shaper -Hub Cordoba- and previously worked for the Argentine Youth Organization for the United Nations (OAJNU), mainly in the training of young people. She graduated from the Program for Governance, Political Management and Public Management 2016 (CAF - The George Washington University - Catholic University of Cordoba) and currently holds the Diploma in Political Innovation from the Academy of Political Innovation and the Diploma in Citizen Security from Bias University Pascal.

César holds a Master in Social policy and Sustainable Development from the Università degli Studi di Bologna in Italy , he participated in the International Leadership Program organized by the US Department of State. He holds Poliical Sciences Licentiate from the Universidad Católica de Córdoba. He is a professor and researcher from the Universidad Católica de Córdoba and the Colegio Universitario de Periodismo. He has worked in the provincial and national public sector in Argentina and in Italy. He has a wide experience as well working in Civil Society Organizations. At the moment, he is working as the President and Executive Director of FUNDEPS, as well as being involved in the Access and Transparency Promotion Project funded by the Regional Transparency Fund from the Inter American Development Bank.

Yamile Najle

Yamile is a litigating lawyer, member of the National Academy of Law and Social Sciences of Cordoba - Institute of Environmental Law and Natural Resources - and outstanding graduate of the UNC (2006). She has worked as a coordinator of the Legal Clinic of the Center for Human Rights and Environment and has specialized in Human Rights in LSE, is a graduate of the "Training Program for Aspiring Magistrates" organized by the Judicial Branch of the Nation and has participated in the Seminar for Advanced Studies in Public and Private International Law taught by The Hague Academy of International Law, specializing also in Environmental Law in UIMP, among others. She is being trained as a mediator in the Bar Association and working on her thesis for the Master in International Relations that she attended at CEA.

Pablo is a Lawyer from the National University of Cordoba, Argentina and a researcher from the Argentine Coalition The Acccess Initiative, organized by the World Resources Institute. He has an extense experience working in Civil Society Organizations, being the Executive Director in the Argentine Youth Organization for the United Nations and the Coordinator of the Voluntary Lawyers Network in Geos Foundation. He has been a participant from the Young Leaders Program from the Fulbright Comission in 2009, invited to the Summer Insitute of the University of Delaware, United States. He is the author of the "Childhood Citizenship Guide" 2007, working in the Access to Public Information. At the moment, he is pursuing a Master of Law in the Torcuato Di Tella University in Buenos Aires, Argentina as well as being involved in the Forestry Governance Promotion Project from the Argentine Coalition of The Access Initiative.
