Towards a regional agreement on environmental human rights

From November 27 to December 1, the eighth meeting of the Negotiating Committee of the Regional Agreement on Access to Information, Public Participation and Access to Justice in Environmental Matters in Latin America and the Caribbean took place at the headquarters of the ECLAC of Santiago de Chile. Social organizations from different parts of the country created the Network of Organizations Against Corruption (R.O.C.C.), a space for articulation and joint actions that seeks to generate incidence in policies to combat corruption and social control of State management.


Regional meeting of OGP Americas: the open government honeymoon has ended

During November 20, 21 and 22, we participated in the Regional Meeting of Americas of the Alliance for Open Government (OGP for its acronym in English). The event brought together government officials and civil society organizations to discuss progress on transparency, access to information, citizen participation and accountability.
