Towards a regional agreement on environmental human rights

From November 27 to December 1, the eighth meeting of the Negotiating Committee of the Regional Agreement on Access to Information, Public Participation and Access to Justice in Environmental Matters in Latin America and the Caribbean took place at the headquarters of the ECLAC of Santiago de Chile. During the 27th, 28th and 29th of November, we participated in the Sixth United Nations Forum on Business and Human Rights. The forum brings together actors from different sectors to discuss the application of the United Nations Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights.

Regional meeting of OGP Americas: the open government honeymoon has ended

During November 20, 21 and 22, we participated in the Regional Meeting of Americas of the Alliance for Open Government (OGP for its acronym in English). The event brought together government officials and civil society organizations to discuss progress on transparency, access to information, citizen participation and accountability.
